The Bizarre Travel Tales podcast was an outgrowth of the Inappropriate Traveler podcast, which shut down temporarily during the pandemic. The underlying idea for both was to provide an alternative to a stuffy, navel-gazing, earnest genre of podcasts that tends to forget that the best part of travel often is the fun, weird and wild stuff on the road.
